A court battle over a one million pound bingo win has torn a family apart and cost £200,000 in legal fees. A woman from Glasgow, UK won the £1 million national jackpot while playing in her local bingo hall with her sister and two sisters-in-law. Back in 2007 Jean McCullagh, 71, her sister Margaret Cleugh and sisters-in-law Rose and Jessie McCullagh were photographed having the time of their lives after scooping the £1 million bingo jackpot at a Mecca Bingo hall in Glasgow. The four had agreed before the bingo games began that they would share any win between them but greed intervened and a family was divided. Jean, from the east-end of Glasgow attempted to keep all of the huge bingo jackpot to herself but has been forced to settled out of court, agreeing to give her sister and sisters-in-law their share of the £1 million national bingo jackpot, but only after a staggering £200,000 was spent on legal fees over the battle.
